On the rear side of the building's deep, recessed windowsills provided good shelter and nesting spots for pigeons. At the height of 300' bird netting was installed to keep pigeons away.

Project Highlights

This exclusive downtown high-rise building is located in a bird-busy area of Toronto. On the rear side of the building deep, recessed windowsills provided good shelter and nesting spots for pigeons. Special equipment was needed to access the areas and Pigeon Busters was called in to deal with the problem. And we did.

The small recessed windows of the apartment provided shelter for pigeons to nest. After a thorough cleaning and surface preparation we installed a combination of bird spikes and bird netting to protect the areas, all the while dangling at 300′.
