Project Highlights

Churches require special attention due to their sensitive structure. I personally have not seen any church without some level of bird activity – a little bit can add to their timeless feel but their structural variety can provide too much comfort for pigeons to roost.

St Paul’s Basilica is in exceptional shape and pigeon problem was a big eyesore on the statues. They had been completely restored and great attention had to be paid not to damage them during work. Aesthetics were utmost importance. The netting had to be installed perfectly.

We used stone coloured, 3/4″ Bird Net to match the existing stones and to keep smaller bird away. We paid special attention to the small details in installing the netting in perfectly straight lines, following the curved stoned in a symmetrical fashion.

At St Mary’s Church the front facade ledges and sills were protected using Bird Spikes.
