Loading Dock in Yorkville

The AC units emit an incredible amount of heat that gets trapped at the ceiling and warms the entire area. We installed bird netting just under the ceiling to create an aesthetically pleasing look, while enclosing all of the water pipes.

Project Highlights

Our long-term client in Yorkville, Toronto fed up with the pigeons.

Their loading dock also serves as the garbage storage area and it is immediately beside the building parking garage exit and below many wall-mounted AC units and several water pipes that run under the ceiling. The AC units emit an incredible amount of heat that gets trapped at the ceiling and warms the entire area considerably. Pigeons have made this part of the building their home for the last few years, but this year it’s really gotten worse.

The AC units started to get damaged along with the bins and the amount of pigeons was growing as well. The particular structure of this area had everything pigeons needed to live the life of luxury: perfect shelter from all sides with a high perch, constant warm air and dripping water fro the AC units and plenty of food available from the garbage bins.

Pigeon Busters was hired to get rid of this mess and put and end to this problem. We installed bird netting just under the ceiling to create an aesthetically pleasing look, while enclosing all of the water pipes. We also installed Bird Spikes on the AC units and other small objects mounted on the wall to prevent the pigeons continuing their habitat.
